FLASH is a magazine about tattoo art and culture that exposes the roots of this ancient artform and how it is growing stronger than ever before. All grids and font sizes used were calculated based on the dimensions of the human body. Two typefaces were chosen, one sharp and modern (Univers)and one old and traditional (Caslon), to embody the history of a creative medium from so long ago that has matured and adapted.
